A Year of Celebration, Challenges and Community

2026 marks 90 years of Scouting at 2nd Whitton — and we’re celebrating in style with a full year of activities for young people, families, and past members.

• 90th Anniversary Badge Competition
  We invited all members to design our official 90th Anniversary Badge. The winning design below will be worn proudly all year.
  
• 90 Challenges for 90 Years
  Can you complete 90 fun, adventurous, creative and kind challenges during 2026? Take them on as a section, with friends, or as a family — and celebrate everything Scouting stands for.
• Celebrate 90 – Family Event
  Sunday 10 May – Join us for an afternoon of games, activities, displays and food at Walton Firs as we celebrate with the whole 2nd Whitton family.
• Celebrate 90 – Group Photo
  Sunday 12 July – All sections are invited to be part of our big anniversary photo. A moment in history captured forever.
• Celebrate 90 – Reunion
  Sunday 13 September – A special gathering for former members, leaders and supporters. Come reconnect, reminisce and celebrate 90 years of memories.
• Party Week
  In December, we’ll celebrate with a full week of section parties — one party every day, each themed and tailored to Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts. A festive finale to our 90th year.
